The Writing Center

Welcome to the Writing Center!

Come to the Writing Center for one-on-one, in-depth tutoring and writing help. We help students with any type of writing assignment, from any class, at any stage in the writing process. The DHS Writing Center is staffed with some of the most caring, passionate English students in the school. Come and find out for yourself what a 30 minute session can do!

Booking Information & Instructions 

Our tutors work diligently to staff the Writing Center throughout as many hours of the day as possible, and through all letter days of the rotation.

Steps for booking a session during school hours:

• Join google classroom: qeoakni and access the system from there.   

 

Before/after school hours:

To further accommodate students’ needs, tutors are available before and after school, in “on-call” fashion.   Contact Ms. McCarthy to book: emccarthy@darienps.org
