2026 National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Scholar/Essay Application - In accordance with National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association’s (NIAAA) purpose to promote, facilitate, and increase the knowledge and understanding of the vital role of interscholastic athletics in the educational system, this scholarship program will foster and acknowledge the partnership between the NIAAA and secondary education. The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership, and citizenship attributes of high school student athletes, and the importance of high school athletics in each student’s life.

The Bohdan Kolinsky Memorial Sports Media Scholarship, presented by the Connecticut Sports Media Alliance, honors the memory of Bohdan

The Bohdan Kolinsky Memorial Sports Media Scholarship, presented by the Connecticut Sports Media Alliance, honors the memory of Bohdan Kolinsky, longtime school sports editor of the Hartford Courant, who died in 2003. The scholarship provides a one-time award of $3,000 to a high school senior from Connecticut who is admitted to an accredited four-year college for study leading to a career in sports media or journalism. 

Deadline to apply is Friday, March 28, 2025.. Applications are being taken through a Google form. Applicants must have a Gmail account to upload the document files, high school transcript and letter of recommendation, required for scholarship consideration.
