Welcome to the Nurse’s Office at Darien High School. Our mission, throughout the district, is to support the health and well-being of all students, enabling them to succeed in the classroom and beyond. We provide a wide range of health services and education to promote a safe and healthy school environment.

SEASONAL HEALTH TIPS FROM THE DPS NURSES

  • SAVE A LIFE DAY. In Honor of National Public Health Week, the Darien Health Department is participating in a statewide Save a Life Day Nalazone Training on Wednesday, April 8th, from 6-7 pm at Post 53, 0 Ledge Road.  A limited number of free Narcan training kits will be offered ot training participants. For more information, email papazidis@darienct.gov.

Services Include:

  • Provides illness and injury care, including first aid, management of chronic conditions, and response to emergencies

  • Ensures the safe administration of prescribed and over-the-counter medications

  • Supports community health initiatives, including compliance with state-mandated health and immunization records

  • Ensures DHS interscholastic athletes are compliant with health requirements based on CIAC guidelines

  • Active members of the 504 and PPT teams for students with health concerns
