Welcome to the Nurse’s Office at Darien High School. Our mission, throughout the district, is to support the health and well-being of all students, enabling them to succeed in the classroom and beyond. We provide a wide range of health services and education to promote a safe and healthy school environment.
SEASONAL HEALTH TIPS FROM THE DPS NURSES
- SAVE A LIFE DAY. In Honor of National Public Health Week, the Darien Health Department is participating in a statewide Save a Life Day Nalazone Training on Wednesday, April 8th, from 6-7 pm at Post 53, 0 Ledge Road. A limited number of free Narcan training kits will be offered ot training participants. For more information, email papazidis@darienct.gov.

Services Include:

Provides illness and injury care, including first aid, management of chronic conditions, and response to emergencies

Ensures the safe administration of prescribed and over-the-counter medications

Supports community health initiatives, including compliance with state-mandated health and immunization records

Ensures DHS interscholastic athletes are compliant with health requirements based on CIAC guidelines

Active members of the 504 and PPT teams for students with health concerns
